Cotswold Water Park work party
October 18, 2010 by wosuser
Thanks to all who attended the work party on the 3rd of October. The early morning inclement weather may have put some of you off (and I don’t blame you!), but a surprising amount was achieved with some very hard work and a roaring fire. But we feel that we could squeeze a little bit more out of you before the floods arrive.
So for those who are gluttons for punishment, and for those who just couldn’t make the last one but are desperate to take their frustrations out on some willow, we are cordially inviting you to another work party on Sunday the 24th of October. This time we’ll be meeting at 10.00am, again at Waterhay carpark, and again we’ll supply the tools (but feel free to bring gloves and your own tools if you want to). More importantly, don’t forget to bring a pair of wellies, waterproofs and warm clothes, a packed lunch and plenty to drink. Ben Welbourn, Biodiversity Field Officer, Cotswold Water Park Society
