Tern Rafts at Cotswold Water Park

Five rafts are sited at the Cotswold Water Park on Lake 74 which is owned by The Cotswold Water Park Society. These rafts support the only breeding population of Black Headed Gull with about 20 pairs and Common Tern with 8 pairs in the county.

Each year these rafts are towed back to shore in the autumn and are repaired and maintained by the Cotswold Water Park Society, Cotswold Water Park Ringing Group and WOS.
