Savernake Forest

Sunday 3 April 2016; 8.00am and 9.30am, Savernake Forest, Marlborough

This is a walk  through mature woodland where we hope to see Nuthatch, Treecreeper, finches and other woodland species. Lesser Spotted Woodpecker is an outside possibility. There are two meeting places. For those wanting an early start, meet at 8.00am in the car park by the picnic/BBQ site at SU 199679. Otherwise meet at 9.30 am at Eight Walks on Grand Avenue SU 225668. This is a meeting likely to last into the early afternoon so lunch should be brought.
