Needs Ore Point near Beaulieu

Sunday 6 November 2016; 9.30am, Needs Ore Point, North Solent National Nature Reserve, Nr Beaulieu.

Meet at St Leonards Grange SZ 407982 about 3 miles south of Beaulieu. There is no general public access to this area and members will be limited to 20. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) in advance in order that numbers can be monitored. A charge of £3 for access will be made. We will visit wet grazing marsh, the estuary of the Beaulieu River, and hides overlooking lagoons. Wildfowl should include Brent Goose, Pintail and Shoveler, whilst waders should include Spotted Redshank, Greenshank and hopefully Avocet.. Raptors are well represented and there is a chance of a diver or scarce grebe on the sea.  All day meeting so bring lunch.
