A spring walk of 6 miles in the New Forest across open heath land and through woodland; there will be a couple of moderate hills. We should see some resident species such as Dartford Warbler and Stonechat, as well as some early spring migrants which may include Redstart and Tree Pipit. Meet in the Ashley Walk car park on the B3078 north east of Godshill at SU 187157. The meeting will last into the afternoon so lunch should be brought.
