Can everyone visiting CWP95 please enter along the permissive path off Fridays Ham Lane, do not climb any fences. If you see anyone in the pit ask them to keep out. If the correct access cannot be assured then the site may well become closed to the public and then no-one will see anything.

IMPORTANT . There have been several incidents recently where birders - whether WOS members or not - have blatantly disregarded signs not to access restricted areas of the countryside. This has included entering danger areas on Salisbury Plain when the red flag has been flying and ignoring safety signs at the Cotswold Water Park. WOS expects all members to observe the rules, regulations and byelaws regarding access to the countryside. This is especially important when birding in areas where there is a safety issue. Safety signs are there for your protection and it is irresponsible to ignore them .
