24th February at 7.30pm, Nick Tomalin, RSPB Conservation Officer, Wiltshire Chalk Country

The Stone-curlew is a classic Wiltshire bird, with a stronghold in the county. Despite that, few people are truly familiar with this bizarre and secretive bird. Over the last 30 years, the RSPB has been running the Wessex Stone-curlew Project, a partnership between farmers and conservationists to improve the fortunes for this species. Nick Tomalin has been managing this work since 2012 and talks about what has been done and how effective the work has been for this charismatic species.

This will be presented via Zoom. To be able to participate in a Zoom meeting you will need to have a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone which has audio and video capability. Most laptops, tablets and smartphones have this but not all desktops.
