Wiltshire Ornithological Society AGM via Zoom
The Wiltshire Ornithological Society will be holding its 47th Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 30th March 2022 via Zoom at 1930 hours.
The AGM will be followed by a presentation "Hen Harriers breeding in Wiltshire?" given by Dr Flemming Ulf-Hansen, Lead Adviser, Hen Harrier Reintroduction, Natural England
Dr Flemming Ulf-Hansen writes "The hen harrier is a majestic, agile and fascinating bird. Once widespread across England, now only breeding in the north, Natural England is aiming to bring the birds back into southern England, starting on the edge of Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire. Flemming, from the Natural England Southern Hen Harrier Reintroduction Project, will introduce you the background behind the project, the plans, how the latest satellite technology will be used to follow the birds and some the complications of species reintroductions."
Members will have received the link to join this meeting on the Agenda which was sent with WOS News No 189 Winter 2022. Additionally, members who receive the monthly email notification received a reminder of this link on 1st March.
