Wednesday 21st December at 7.30 pm Peter Thompson, will be presenting  “Can modern farming and farmland birds co-exist?”. This will be delivered via Zoom.

Peter originally trained and practised as an Agronomist, but then moved into the world of conservation and land management, where for over 30 years he advised farmers across England, on farming with nature, rather than against it.
Peter ran the pilot scheme for Natural England on Farmer clusters - getting farmers to join forces to deliver conservation on a landscape scale. There are now around 200  farmer clusters in England, involving some 4,000 land managers and covering well over 2 1/2  million acres.
He recently "semi-retired" and is as busy as ever following his interest in natural history.

Members will be sent the link to join this meeting in the monthly email at the beginning of the month in which the talk takes place.
