A visit to this 1000 hectare organic farm owned by Henry Edmunds, who has for the past 30 years practised farming in harmony with the environment. At this time of the year we should see a wide variety of farmland birds together with butterflies and some interesting flora. It will also provide a chance for members to see how Henry has managed this working farm whilst at the same time promoting wildlife. Meet in the yard of the farm (Home Farm on Sheet 184 1;50,000 OS map) at SU233428. The meeting is likely to last into the early afternoon so please bring lunch.
